Research Film

This type of contribution is recommended to students who prefer to present their work in multimedia form. By the end of the session, the authors will also be asked to engage in a short discussion so they must participate in the session. The authors cannot present their films “in absentia”!

  • Each author can submit only one film.
  • Submitted films should be of 3-5 minutes in duration (or less).
  • The films must contain the title and author details (name, surname, affiliation).
  • Short films of all production techniques including animation, documentary, screen capture and live-action are accepted. Please avoid a 'talking head' only presentations.
  • The film must be saved in MP4 or MOV format and coded with the popular codec.
  • You can use a smartphone to shoot the film, but the recording should be in high quality. Consider using a tripod, microphone, etc. You can use Windows Movie Maker to prepare your files.
  • Authors must obtain all necessary permissions for the inclusion of any copyright‑protected works, including music and/or images used in the film.
